Air

If you need to book a flight, the Charlotte Douglas International Airport is a 15-minute drive from campus.

 

Taxi

Taxi service from the airport costs approximately $25. Two local cab companies in Charlotte are:

  • Diamond Cab: 704-333-3030

 

Public Transportation

The Sprinter is a public transportation service that provides a direct connection between Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Uptown Charlotte. The Sprinter fare is the same as the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) local fare.

Directions

Traveling South

Take Exit 10B. Keep straight at the end of the exit and follow Trade St. toward Uptown. Turn right onto S. Cedar St. Go through the light at W. 4th St., then turn left into Parking Lot A. The Student Center will be on your right.

 

From I-85

Take I-77 South. Then take Exit 10B (Trade Street). Keep straight at the end of the exit and follow Trade St. toward Uptown. Turn right onto S. Cedar St. Go through the light at W. 4th St., then turn left into Parking Lot A. The Student Center will be on your right.

 

From Charlotte Douglas International Airport

Take Billy Graham Parkway to I-77 North. Take Exit 10 (Trade Street). Turn right at the end of the exit and follow Trade Street toward Uptown. Turn right onto S. Cedar St. Go through the light at 4th St., then turn left into Parking Lot A. The Student Center will be on your right.

 

From I-77

Traveling north, take Exit 10 (Trade Street). Turn right at the end of the exit and follow Trade Street toward Uptown. Turn right onto S. Cedar St. Go through the light at W. 4th St., then turn left into Parking Lot A. The Student Center will be on your right.


Parking

Sessions 1- 3

Limited parking is available in Lot A (235 S. Cedar St.) at no cost, as well as in our gravel parking lot (Lot B), located next to Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. Additional parking is available at a COST in the Cedar Street Parking Deck (136 S. Cedar St.).

 

Session 4

For students moving in to their residence hall during Session 4, further information regarding the unloading process and parking instructions will be communicated via email in late August. If you have any specific questions regarding housing move-in before then, please contact Residential Life at 980-598-1800.
