New Student Orientation is designed to help students transition to college and to have a successful start at JWU Charlotte. Our purpose is to answer the many questions you or your family may have, connect you with campus resources, and get you engaged with your new community members. We look forward to seeing you!

Success Starts at Orientation

Soon, JWU will be your home — and we can’t wait to welcome you! Join us for 2022 Summer Orientation, a can’t-miss event where you’ll learn everything you’ll need to know about being a Wildcat, such as:

  • What it’s like to live on campus or commute
  • How to get involved with student organizations and clubs
  • Academic expectations and keys to success
  • How to find people, places, and resources here to help you

You’ll complete a required orientation program that includes an overnight on-campus experience, all while having tons of fun and starting friendships that will last a lifetime. There’s no better way to prepare for your college experience at JWU!
