Students with Reasonable Accommodation Requests

JWU is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations to allow students with learning, physical or other disabilities to succeed in their academic pursuits.

While maintaining the highest academic integrity, the university strives to balance scholarship with support services that assist students with disabilities with functioning in the university’s academic environment.

Students with disabilities who need to request a reasonable accommodation(s) during Orientation should contact the Center for Academic Support at 401-598-1485 at least two weeks prior to the program.

Change of Major

Many of our majors have specific academic requirements. Any change of major is handled by our Admissions team.

If you are registered with a major in Arts & Sciences, Business, Health & Wellness, Hospitality or Engineering & Design and want to make a change, call 1-800-DIAL-JWU x2310.

If you are registered with a major in Culinary or Baking & Pastry Arts and want to make a change, call 1-800-DIAL-JWU x2370.

Financial Planning

If you have not completed a payment plan, you may meet with a Student Financial Services representative to finalize your method of payment for tuition and fees.

However, we encourage you to complete this prior to Orientation so you don’t miss any of the program.
